MID TERM GRADES
Mid term ends on Wednesday, November 25th. Mid term grades will go home on Wednesday, December
2nd.
ELEMENTARY WINTER PROGRAM
The Elementary Winter music program will be Monday, December 7th at Liberty Center. Watch
for more information to come from Mrs. Young.
WE LEARNED IT ALL IN KINDERGARTEN
If you didn’t have a chance to purchase Mrs. Presley’s book through the school,
they will be available at Milo’s Small Town Country Christmas on December 5th. It’s
full of funny, true stories collected from Mrs. Presley’s years as a Kindergarten teacher.
You may even recognize a story about yourself!!
CORI
The Intermediate School is now in it’s 5th year of the professional development
initiative called Concept-Oriented Reading Instruction (CORI). (More info...)
About Our School
Approximately 116 students in fourth, fifth, and sixth grades
in the Southeast Warren Community School District attend the Intermediate
School here in Lacona, Iowa.
The students read to learn, do more advanced math computations,
and explore the world around them. They also learn how to daily
interract with others in a caring and productive way.
