Welcome to Southeast Warren Jr-Sr High School

SEW JH-HS is a learning community comprised of 230 students in grades 7th - 12th and roughly 50 certified and non-certified staff members dedicated to academic excellence.

SEW JH-HS takes pride in addressing the needs and promoting the talents of each student. We offer a wide variety of classes to engage and challenge all students. Besides core classes, students are able to enroll in a number of Dual Credit, AP and Concurrent Enrollment courses. Many students graduate from SEW with numerous college credits already earned. SE Warren High School also offers career and technical education opportunities in the areas of Agriculture, Business Education, Building Trades and Health Occupations.

SE Warren is a 1:1 school district in grades 2nd-12th, providing all students with Chromebooks that are utilized during their educational career as a Warhawk. We have a strong relationship with Des Moines Area Community College and many of our students utilize DMACC’s Career Academy for additional coursework beyond our own. In addition we are able to offer college courses taught by several of our own SE Warren staff members that are adjunct DMACC professors.

We work to achieve our district vision of “success for all” by make learning relevant and accessible to all of our diverse learners.

Our students are also provided the opportunity to excel in a wide variety of interscholastic sports, clubs and fine arts activities that all excel at both the local and state level. Many of our graduates  excel at the post-secondary level in both academics and activities.

If you are moving to our area, feel free to stop in, take a tour and see what the WARHAWK community has to offer.
