Daycare Center Building

It is the mission of the Elzora Town Daycare Center to provide quality childcare for all families in the community in a warm, nurturing, loving, and educational environment.

Welcome to the Elzora Town Daycare Center! Our new nonprofit center opened in January of 2016 to provide a wide range of child care, from infants to school-age children.

We are now taking infants starting at 6 weeks old through sixth grade children. The staff and children are experiencing a whole new world. By providing rooms for different ages, we are able to better meet each child’s individual needs.

Our staff consists of a supervisor and qualified teachers. They are continually trained in professional growth and development to guarantee your child is getting the ultimate care and to provide an appropriate learning environment.

Our new facility is licensed with the State of Iowa.

Daycare Center new facility

When considering daycare for your child, you may want to consider the advantages a center has to offer. A center is more reliable as they are always available. There is always ample supervision and children are able to socialize with other children of the same or other age groups. The facility offers schedules and curriculum based activities, along with field trips.

Staff members are trained and continue to be trained in Early Childhood Education, CPR/First Aid, and staff development. Our center is DHS licensed and regulated. We are participants in the Child and Adult Care Food Program, which means your child will always have nutritious meals and snacks. The center also offers childcare for infant through 6th grade allowing parents a one stop drop off for childcare, preschool, and school.

The opening of the newest facility has brought about many positive changes. Our contract is designed to meet your demands as a parent, allowing you to contract for the number of days you want.

Whether you are a parent or a community member, if you are interested in a tour of our new center, interested in meeting our nurturing staff, seeing the great things we are doing, or simply have questions, please contact Jennifer Baughman at 641-942-6138 or via e-mail. We would love to share our new facility with you!

We wish to thank all of those community members, parents, friends, and family that have contributed their services or a money donation.

We are very excited to be a part of such a great opportunity for our community and the SE Warren district!

When signing up for daycare, you may contract for the number of days that meets your needs. You do not have to contract for 3 or 5 days only. We also provide back up or call ins as long as we can still meet child to adult ratios. If you have any questions about our flexibility or what we offer, please do not hesitate to contact Jennifer Baughman.
